Professor Alex SIOW

Prof Alex Siow is currently Professor (Practice) in the School of Computing, NUS and concurrently Director of the Strategic Technology Management Institute (STMI) and Director of the Centre for Health Informatics.

Prior to the current appointment, Prof Alex was the Managing Director, Health & Public Service at Accenture Pte Ltd. Alex started his career as a Structural Engineer in the Housing & Development Board in 1981 and rose through the ranks to become the Chief Information Officer in 1989. In 2003, Alex joined the private sector and became the Senior Vice-President in StarHub Ltd. From 2005 to 2008, Alex was the Head, Business Markets where he was responsible for Enterprise Sales. From 2008 to 2011, Alex was the CIO of StarHub and from 2011 to 2012, Alex was Head, Enterprise Risk Management.



Mr. Arthur LIM

Arthur Lim is currently the ALM Practice Lead for Hewlett-Packard Software Professional Services responsible for providing consulting to and partnering with many HP customers in the region in their journey toward IT service excellence, specifically in the domain of Software Quality and Testing in the Application Lifecycle Management and Center of Excellence. Arthur also represented HP in the Technical Committee for the development of the National Infocomm Competency Framework (NICF) for building competencies of IT professionals in Singapore.



Professor Atish Sinha

Dr. Atish Sinha is a Professor of MIS at the Lubar School of Business, University of WisconsinMilwaukee, USA. He earned his Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from the Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh, USA. His expertise is in the areas of object-oriented software engineering, componentbased software development, business intelligence, data warehousing and IT-enabled strategic management. He has taught a wide variety of MIS courses, and has offered professional seminars in business intelligence, data warehousing, object-oriented modelling and component-based development.



Mr. Azhar AZIB

Mr. Azhar Azib is the founder of rawonionDecisions, a CRM and Integrated Engagements advisory practice, passionate about Sustainable Engagements. He started this practice in 2010 with a lofty mission of helping corporations build capabilities that will enable them to deliver targeted, measurable, impact driving engagements, over and over again.



Mr. CHEE Yuh Min

Mr Chee Yuh Min is currently a Director in IT Consultancy and Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd. He has solid 25 years of working experience in IT industry. In his career, he worked for Singapore National Computer Board, Singapore Network Services Pte Ltd and two major leading IT Outsourcing Services providers namely Electronic Data Systems (EDS) and Hewlett-Packard (HP) Company. In total, he worked for EDS and HP for 15 years as Director of Service Delivery and Account Director. In October 2009, he left HP in the capacity as the South East Asia General Manager for Outsourcing to pursue his career interest in IT management consultancy.



Assistant Professor CHEN Yuanyuan

Dr. Chen Yuanyuan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Systems at the National University of Singapore (NUS). She joined NUS in September 2008 after she received her Ph.D. (2008) and LL.M (Master of Law) degrees from Emory University (USA). She also holds a LL.M degree from National Huaqiao University (China) and is a certified lawyer in China.



Associate Professor Danny POO

Dr. Danny Poo graduated with a BSc (Hons), MSc and PhD in Computer Science from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), England. He is currently a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Information Systems, National University of Singapore. He has taught courses in Systems Analysis and Design, Enterprise Systems Development, Object-Oriented Software Engineering, and Information Technology Project Management.



Professor Giri Kumar Tayi

Giri Kumar Tayi is a Professor of Management Science and Information Systems at the State University of New York at Albany.  He obtained his Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University and his research and teaching interests are interdisciplinary and span the fields of Information Systems, Operations Management and Operations Research.  His current research streams include E-Commerce and Digital Marketing, Social Media, Information Sharing in Supply Chains, Economics of Information Systems, Data Quality and Data Mining.



Mr. HENG Cho Hiong

Cho Hiong has 27 years of management consulting and industry experience. He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and has been doing Lean Six Sigma consulting and project management training for the last 4 years.

Started as an engineer, Cho moved into management consulting with Accenture and GE after receiving his MBA in 1993. He spent 10 years with Microsoft in both their sales and operation business units in Singapore; he served as MBB and set up their Lean Six Sigma and PMO practice here.

In the last 4 years, he has provided Lean Six Sigma consulting, training and coaching services with AVA, PA, SMRT, Halliburton, HP, NTUC Income, St Andrews Community Hospital and Microsoft.

Cho is the Course Developer for a Lean Six Sigma course and an Associate Tutor for the Statistics course at the School of Business of Singapore University of Social Sciences.



Associate Professor HUANG Ke-Wei

Dr. Ke-Wei Huang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Systems at School of Computing, National University of Singapore (NUS). Dr. Huang received his Ph.D. in Information Systems (2007) and M.Sc. (with honors) in Information Systems (2002) from the Stern School of Business at New York University, and his M.B.A. in Finance (1997) and B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (1995) from National Taiwan University.



Mr. Iqbal Siraj

Mr. Iqbal Siraj has over twenty years of leadership experience in the InfoTech industry spanning the gamut of technology management and operations, financial management and new product development as well as driving higher performance and results.
He has developed and pioneered multiple new businesses and services and have a deep understanding of what it takes to get any new venture off the ground.



Ms. Irene BOEY

Irene Boey is the Consulting Director of Integral Solutions (Asia) Pte Ltd. She is responsible for leading Integral’s data mining and CRM business in Asia. Her responsibilities include solving customer’s business problems by simplifying advanced technology to address business users’ needs. Due to her decade of practical experience in managing businesses, she is able to understand the real needs of business users. As a result, she has implemented many successful data mining and CRM projects in various industries like banking and finance, telco, retail and wholesales, government and manufacturing.



Associate Professor Irene WOON

Dr. Irene Woon graduated with a BBA from the University of Singapore and a MSc and PhD in Computer Science from Aston University, England.She is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Information Systems, National University of Singapore where she teaches courses in Information Technology Audit and Software Project Management.



Mr. Jack Chiam

Mr. Jack Chiam is an experienced Business Process and Technology Leader. He has practiced both strategic and operational IT during his tenor as an IT professional in the Banking, Chemical, Media and Digital, Manufacturing and Supply Chain industry. There are a few large and patented projects under some industries that were managed and respectfully monetized.

His 3 prominent positions from year 1998 were as a Regional CIO (APJ) in Michelin, Group CIO of MediaCorp Pte Ltd and Group CIO of Musim Mas Holding Pte Ltd. In all, he works for 5 MNCs and 1 local firm since 1982. The rest remains Barclays PLC, Credit Suisse First Boston, Matson Leasing Company. He is currently a practitioner of strategic IT as a Group CIO in an Agricultural and Process manufacturing company with Musim Mas Holding, an Indonesian owned largest global palm oil company.



Dr. James PANG

Dr. James Pang is currently a Visiting Associate Professor at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore.  His research forcuses on Business Analytics (BA) architecture, analytics modelling methodology and algorithm development.  He has rich multi-industry experience in Healthcare, Manufacturing, Supply Chain/Logistics, Retail, and Government sectors, and has been working in analytics and optimization areas in the last 15 years.



Mr. Jason Lim

Jason had the privilege to ride the wave of change at the Social Media helm of major international brands and experienced first-hand the strategic pivoting needed for businesses to stay successful in this digital age. As a trainer and consultant today, Jason brings with him a decade of content creation and social media experience that combines proven social media strategies and actual practitioner hours.

Mr. KWAN Choon Tuck

Choon Tuck is currently Principal Consultant in the field of IT Service Management with Vendpoint Pte Ltd and in the field of Business Continuity Management and IT Disaster Recovery with Organisation Resilience Management Pte Ltd.

Choon Tuck was head of the IS Infrastructure Services Dept of StarHub, he led a team of 70 systems engineers and DBAs to ensure high availability and resiliency of the IT Infrastructure. He was also responsible for the Software Configuration management and Release & Deployment operations of the highly dynamic telco application landscape.

He spearheaded and successfully implemented many of the key ITIL processes to improve the operational effectiveness of the IS dept. He played a key role in helping StarHub to achieve SS540 (precursor to ISO22301) Business Continuity certification in 2011.

He initiated the implementation of virtualisation technologies for both enterprise and storage systems. He was instrumental in setting up the Public Cloud platform for StarHub to host cloud-based solutions for SMEs and enterprises.



Mr. Larry LAM

Mr. Larry Lam is the Managing Director of McGuire Asia which provides consulting services and training in the areas of financial investigation, anti-money laundering, Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) implementation, information technology assessment, internal control review, fraud risk management, credit risk & control management advisory and corporate governance advisory. His clients include MNCs, banks and law enforcement agencies in Asia such as commercial crime bureaus, customs, casino regulatory authority and anti corruption agencies.



Dr. Mengling FENG

Dr. Mengling Feng is currently the lab head of the Bioinformatics and Healthcare Analytics lab, Data Analytics Department, Institute for Infocomm Research. He is also jointly appointed as the Adjunct Assistant Professor in both the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore.

Dr Feng was a Senior Post-doc and is currently a Research Affiliate with the Lab of Computational Physiology, Harvard-MIT Health Science Technology Division.  His research is to develop effective medical Big Data management and analysis methods to extract actionable knowledge to improve the quality of care.  His research brings together concepts and tools across machine learning, optimization, signal processing, statistical causal inference and big data management.  In particular, he has been publishing on physiological signal forecasting, modeling of disease progress trajectory, dynamic patient phenotyping, statistical understanding of treatment effects and management of heterogeneous medical big data.  



Mr. NG Tiong Gee

Mr. Ng Tiong Gee was the Senior Vice President for Technology of Resorts World Sentosa, which he joined in 2013. He was the Chief Information Officer as well as the Chief Human Resource Officer of United Test and Assembly Center Ltd from 2008 to 2013, before he joined Resorts World Sentosa. Prior to that, Tiong Gee was with STATS ChipPAC in 2001 and was its Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Information Officer until 2008. Between 1988 and 1992, he held various key engineering positions at Digital Equipment Singapore, now part of Hewlett-Packard. He then went on to work at Siemens Microelectronics Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (now known as Infineon Technologies Asia Pacific) for over six years where he last served as Director of Information Systems and Services. From 1999 to 2001, he was the Chief Information Officer of Gateway Incorporated, heading the company’s IT activities in Asia Pacific.



Mr. NG Yoke Weng

Ng Yoke Weng was with the IT industry for more than 30 years. 

After graduation, Mr Ng spent 17 years with Systems & Computer Organisation, rising to the top position of Director in 1995. He was involved in planning and implementation of large scale logistics systems and other corporate systems.

Mr Ng joined SingTel in May 1997 as the Chief Information officer. He was re-designated Group Chief Information Officer in 2003 following the integration of IT Operations for SingTel’s Singapore and Australian( Optus) businesses.

He leads and oversees the planning, development and operations of the IT infrastructure and information systems to ensure quality service delivery and operational efficiency. He led major changes in the BSS and OSS within the company and involved in other transformation of the company business.



Mr. ONG Whee Teck

Whee Teck holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from University of Malaya. Upon graduation he joined the then Andersen Consulting (now known as Accenture) where he spent 2 stints of over 20 years.



Mr. Paul THAM

Paul Tham is a seasoned professional in managing partnerships for large multi-national companies. Overall, Paul Tham has almost three decades of extensive business management in Asia Pacific including Japan, Australia and People’s Republic of China working in a few large US multi-national companies including HP, Compaq, Digital Computer Corporation, Sun Microsystems Inc and Oracle Corporation.



Mr. Raul Paolo Miranda

Raul Paolo Miranda has contributed 24+ years of strong strategic, managerial and leadership expertise, enabling  enterprise innovation and creativity with outstanding results recognized in CIO Asia's CIO 100 Awards and MIS Asia’s IT Excellence Awards. He completed his Masters in CIO Practices (NUS STMI) and B.Sc. Industrial Engineering (DLSU) with certifications in IT Project Mgmt (CITPM), IT Security (CISSP), SAP ERP Logistics (MM) & Financials (FI/CO), MS Dynamics CRM, Lotus Notes and Education (ACTA). He has hands-on experience in IT governance, architecture, program & project management, business development, sales & marketing, procurement, analysis & design, programming, implementation, testing, training and support of enterprise solutions, from Systems Analyst to Chief Information Officer & Technology Head for the top local, regional and global organizations. He is currently a Board ExCo Director of (ISC)2 Singapore and an Advisory Board Member of CIO Academy Asia. He also provides quality training, consulting and advisory services for various organizations.



Mr. Robert OH

Robert is the founder and principal of Eagles Wings, a Lean Six Sigma consulting and training firm based in Singapore.

He has more than 30 years of consulting and management experience. His career took him to Invensys, Baan, Singapore Network Services and National Computer Board. During his tenure in Invensys he led a global deployment of Lean Transformation (2000-2004) in an IT organization.

For the last 13 years, he has been a Lean Management consultant, trainer and coach. His major engagements include Shell (2013-2015) and SATS (2004-2007). Clients also include NHGP, NIE, Bayer Business Services and many others.

To date, Robert has worked with and coached more than 800 Lean projects and facilitated 400 ‘kaizen’ events. He also coaches senior leaders and managers on Lean Ways of Working and the development of effective teams which make use of stand-up meetings and visual boards and other lean methods.

Robert is also the author of the book "Strategic Lean Service".



Mr. Sushil CHATTERJI

Sushil Chatterji is Director & Principal Consultant of Edutech Enterprises, a specialist advisory consulting and training company. Sushil has been providing consulting and training services in Europe and the South East Asian region over the last 10 years. His primary areas of engagement are in Business Governance of IT, and Enterprise Architecture for Business Transformation. He is concurrently partner of ICT Control in Brussels which is a consortium of specialists. In this affiliation, he is responsible for the Enterprise Architecture and Value Governance practice areas. He is also Director of ISC Singapore, a joint venture with ISC worldwide which is an audit and certification body for ISO standards.



Mr. TEO Chin Seng

Experience Technology Senior Executive with more than 32 years of experience, working in Asia Pacific (Singapore), China, Middle East and USA (LA).   Proven track record in senior CIO and Technology leadership roles, Healthcare, and consulting for companies in Start-ups & Unique Technologies.  

Mr Teo Chin Seng specialized in Business Transformation and Process Re-engineering through the use of technology with innovation and integration. 



Associate Professor Terence SIM

Dr. Terence Sim is an Associate Professor in the School of Computing, National University of Singapore.  He received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2002.  He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science (1991) from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering (1990) from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

He serves as President of the Pattern Recognition and Machine Intelligence Association (PREMIA), a national professional body for pattern recognition, affiliated with the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR).  He received the 4th Temasek Young Investigators Award (2005) for his 3-year project in Extreme Face Recognition.



Mr. THAM Ming Soong

Mr Tham Ming Soong left the mainstream financial services industry after a career spanning more than 30 years. Over the course of his career Ming Soong had held senior positions at the United Overseas Bank (UOB), Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), and the Overseas Chinese Banking Corporation (OCBC). From December 2005 until end April 2012, Ming Soong was the Group Chief Risk Officer of UOB. In this role, Ming Soong was responsible for providing strategic risk management directions for the UOB Banking Group. He had responsibilities for credit, market, liquidity and operation risks of the Group’s banking, fund management and insurance businesses.



Dr. Vrizlynn THING

Dr Vrizlynn Thing leads the Cyber Security & Intelligence (CSI) R&D Department at the Institute for Infocomm Research, A*STAR, Singapore. The department focuses on cyber security, digital forensics and crime analytics research and technology innovation. She is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore (School of Computing), and the Singapore Management University (School of Information Systems). She also holds the appointment of Honorary Assistant Superintendent of Police (Specialist V) at the Singapore Police Force, Ministry of Home Affairs.

Dr Thing has over 15 years of security and forensics R&D experience with in-depth expertise in cyber attack & crime evolvement detection and mitigation, cyber security, digital forensics, and security intelligence & analytics. Her research draws on her multidisciplinary background in computer science (Ph.D. from Imperial College London, United Kingdom), and electrical, electronics, computer and communications engineering (Diploma from Singapore Polytechnic, B.Eng. (Hons) and M.Eng by Research from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore).



Adjunct Associate Professor YU Chien Siang

Prof Yu Chien Siang is the Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) of Certis Cisco and previously, of a department in the Ministry of Home Affairs. Prior to this, he was the most senior Computer Security Consultant at the Singapore government. He was awarded the Carl Duisberg Gesellschaft Scholarship to pursue his studies at a German university and graduated as a Data Systems Engineer. During his study, he received training at the Siemens Research Laboratory and IBM R&D Laboratory in Boblingen. He has been working in the Civil Service since 1981 and was awarded National Day Honours, the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 1993 and (Silver) Bar in 2004.
