Dr. Jenson Goh

jensongohDr. Jenson is the Director of Studies, Residential College 4, NUS. His responsibility involves the design and realisation of a transformative educational programme that integrate in- & out-of class learning experiences in a residential setting to develop students into able system thinkers. He is an international award winner case writer and was invited by Brazil Universities to coach academics on using case study in education. He was consulted in the implementation of several action learning experiential programmes for South Africa’s senior executives and MBA students from the GIBS, South Africa. Prior joining NUS, he was a Senior Lecturer & Head, Visual Communication with Business in UniSIM. He served as the University’s eLearning strategist & was instrumental in driving key strategic eLearning initiatives including the adoption of flipped classroom methodology. 

Dr. Jenson is a multi-disciplinary researcher. His research strives to uncover ways to help organizations deal with wicked problems, and on how teaching and learning can be reinvented through the innovative use of IT. His research has been published in top tier Information Systems and Computer Science journals and conferences. 

Before joining the academia, Dr. Jenson had >16 years in strategizing IT use as a Chief Enterprise Architect. In 2003, he was selected by Infocomm Authority of Singapore and Sun Microsystems for the prestigious 8 months Java Black Belt programme to be groomed as one of future leaders in IT, together with dozens of Singapore’s national elites. For his innovative use of IT in solving complex business problems, he had won >20 international and national awards. He was a member of the senior management of the King Edward VII NUS between 2005 and 2013. He continues to hone his senior managerial skills by serving as the Head, Manpower and Logistics (NS) in the SPF and as an advisory board member of Caregiver Asia Pte Ltd, a leading Singapore's healthcare provider with global presence.
